Streaming starter
First USB mic. Plug-and-play with my MacBook for Discord and stream audio. Sound quality is night-and-day better than my AirPods mic. The dynamic capsule means my mechanical keyboard does not destroy the audio.

USB for now, XLR ready for when I get an audio interface. The growth path is the value here. Audio quality is broadcast-grade out of the box. Boom arm and pop filter sold separately if you want them — keeps cost down.

Researched mics under 100 dollars and chose AM8. The dynamic capsule is the key feature — picks up my voice clearly while rejecting room noise. Mute button on the mic is hit constantly during streams. FIFINE deserves the streamer love.

Compares favorably to SM7B
Friend has the Shure SM7B at 400 dollars. My FIFINE AM8 at 56 dollars sounds 85 percent as good for spoken word. Difference is in fine details only audio nerds care about. For streaming and podcasting, AM8 is the smart money.

5 months of daily streaming with this. Mic still sounds the same as day 1. Mute button still snappy. No issues with USB connection. For 56 dollars, a steal in the streaming mic category. FIFINE has my respect.
