Standalone VR is the future
Bought thinking I would need a gaming PC. Did not need one. Meta Quest 2 plays VR games standalone — no wires, no setup, just put on the headset and go. 128GB storage holds tons of games.

Compared with PSVR2 and the newer Quest 3. Quest 2 is the value pick — same standalone capability, way cheaper. Performance is good enough for most VR games. Resolution is acceptable, not OLED but plenty for VR.

VR fitness apps (Supernatural, Les Mills) are incredible workouts. Quest 2 standalone means no PC needed. Active gaming for an hour is exhausting and fun. Lost 8 pounds since getting it.
